If you know Harry Cleaver, his son Todd is the Captain of our United States Rugby Team. They play Canada in the first round of the World Cup on ESPN. Whittell blood is representing the U.S. Harry is of the class 1965 or so. Harry will be at the reunion and let us know all about our United States Ruby team.

Pam and I just attended Kelly Wines Memorial on sat. may 1. It was a really nice service. There were about 200 locals including lots of classmates and others involved with the coming reunion. I too was at Kelly Wines memorial service with two of my children, Tara Scaduto and Deanne Snyder. My brother Joe with his youngest son, Luke also attended. It was a tough way to have seen some special people who were in our younger years. I am glad to hear from some of my class mates. I look forward to getting together besides the reunion. Kelly you are truly missed. My prayers to her very kind and loving family.

I live in Washington State. I wanted to attend the reunion. I have 3 employees on vacation this month. My brother (Mark)is going to the reunion. He is going to bring a pen, alot of paper and a camera. So please everyone look pretty and talk alot. Diana, GREAT job on everything.

I'm sorry to report that I will not be attending the 2010 Whittell reunion.

I attended the reunion in 2000, and it was a great time. Connie, Bob, and others appear to be doing a wonderful job planning this year's event.

After graduation in 1975, I moved to Reno to study electrical engineering at the U of NV. I stayed in Reno until 1990, briefly relocated to So CA to work at World Vision and then moved to Seattle 20 yrs ago where I still live. I have worked in information technology and information security my entire career, and still have a lot of gas in my tank. Since 1999 I have written twenty-two books on information technology and security, many of which are available through Amazon. I attended the FBI Citizens' Academy in 2008 and occasionally help the DOJ on cybercrime cases. In the little spare time left, I'm the lead instructor at the U of Washington in a certificate program in information security.

I live with my wife, Rebekah and stepdaughter a few miles from Mt. Rainier in the Seattle area. When I'm not working or writing, we can be seen riding our motorcycles in the Cascade and Olympic Mtn foothills or the western Washington valleys and forests. We both have our Private Investigator licenses and are considering opening a private practice. We would like to retire in the San Juan Islands or perhaps in the central Washington high desert that is so much like Reno / Tahoe where I lived for 21 years.

My life has been characterized as one of experiencing great loss, and of overcoming the loss. In my schooling years I rejected the "cool" and "popular" centric values of typical students and was shunned as being unsociable; consequently, I was the butt of teasing, taunting, and other cruelty in Jr. High. Later in life, I lost a son in 1984, and three daughters in 2004. Only by God's grace has my life remained a vision of hope.
